As a mammoth infrastructure company, there are 100s of instruments are installed and functional to provide key information related to projects. The objective is to collect the specific data from instruments and process that data into desired reports and make it available for central teams to take the key decisions on a managerial level.
The Key challenges are to collect the data from instrumentation devices like Inclinometers, Total Stations, Optiometrics etc.) requires technical manpower to collect data manually and processing of these huge data sets is a tedious job which requires lots of time and high degree of man-hours due to which the management is not furnished with quick and timely reports.
As a major Infrastructure company needed to improve the efficiency of how instru- ment like
Inclinometers, Total Stations, Optometric, etc manual data input are noting, how data sets are being validated and processed on excel to create a different report in order to analyze the instruments output & efficiency.
We built a mobile app for field engineers to take the manual & automated data inputs from instruments like Inclinometers, Total Stations, and Optometric etc, where App data is stored on a secure cloud server which is accessed & processed on afcons web admin panel.
To maintain and data security we created different level of user logins at admin side where according to user levels, System authority can be assigned and accord- ing to that user can access the data and reconcile the reports.
We have created very easy process to generate all instruments reports between any two dates and even admin can merge all different reports into one and share to the higher management. The system automatically notifies admins for any unusual instrument data behavior.
